What They Wear
My husband is a minimalist. If I could have taken a picture of a navy blue t-shirt and khaki cargo shorts I would have. That is what he lives in in the summer. Instead, I took a picture of his accessories. You see here glasses, a watch (sans the band...we were shopping for one), a pocket knife (which has been used to cut many hot dogs and chicken nuggets while we were on the go and had to stop somewhere for a quick bite for the munchkins), and a wedding band.

Joy of Love 02
For our second prompt, we are supposed to capture our loved one(s) in a pose/facial expression that just exemplifies them. Here are my loved ones.
Peanut has an almost mischievous smile, and she's looking over her shoulder at me. Both of those are what I usually see just before she runs away from me (which happens ALL the time).
Popper is usually too busy examining things to smile, and she rarely looks at the camera anymore. This is her natural look, and her pose is fairly common. We LOVE going down to the nature trail by our house and playing on the bridge.
Ah, the ever elusive Husband. He looks angry, doesn't he? He isn't. He was actually being silly and trying to look angry, but this if often his natural look. And I love it!!!

Redo Joy of Love 01
Now that we're feeling better and my creative juices are flowing again, I decided to redo my initial Joy of Love post. Rather than take a single picture of loved ones doing something, we could document them doing something. I've documented my little ones "fixing" the dining room table. Popper really was tightening some of the bolts (which really needed to be done) and then she "taught" her little sister how to do it. I just love them!

Ah, We Can Breathe!
Seems we have finally kicked the germs out of our home and we are healthy! Hurray! To celebrate, I'm posting a happy picture of my husband and Peanut. I just love this picture. Hopefully now that we're healthy (and since Husband got a haircut) I'll be able to continue doing the prompts for my workshop.

Well, it's winter...
So obviously that means we all must get sick. I don't mean sniffles and a slight cough, I mean body aches, fevers, and horrible things that you don't want to read about. Yup. All of us, except my husband, are sick. Until we can walk around gracefully, as opposed to hunched over with body aches, and our noses aren't dripping like a faucet turned on all the way, I won't be taking pictures for my online photography workshop. Hopefully we'll be healthy soon (and hopefully The Husband won't be getting sick as soon as the rest of us get better).

First day of class
For our first prompt/assignment, we are supposed to capture someone we love doing something. Since when my loved ones are doing something (at least, the little ones I love) they aren't typically sitting still, this was a bit difficult. I did capture this one of Peanut. :)
And yes, I'm feeling more calm. I don't know why, so let's just attribute it to grace.
